It’s not about performance;
it’s about feeling calm.
The Aerapy Method offers a restorative aerial yoga experience that is welcoming to all body types, fitness levels, and ages. Imagine the serene feeling of relaxing in a hammock while safely suspended in poses that gently decompress your joints and melt tension. This practice helps refresh your endocrine, lymphatic, and digestive systems, promoting overall well-being. As you move with the silks, you'll build confidence, enhance your posture and quell anxiety so you can get a better night’s rest.
It will especially benefit:
people who work on a computer: writers, editors, admins
cyclists and runners
dancers recovering from an injury
yogis seeking to elevate their practice
postpartum moms
commuters with long commutes
grandparents with stiff hips and shoulders
burned-out urbanites
travelers with jet lag
musicians recovering from adrenal fatigue
trauma survivors
long covid survivors
vocalists in training
And there’s physics behind it.
Did you know “Tech Neck” is a thing?
Tech devices are changing our posture. When the head is out of alignment for extended periods, an unnatural curvature of the spine develops. The chest and shoulders cave inward, inhibiting the breath and circulation of oxygen to the brain; the weight of the head also strains the neck which can potentially lead to chronic back pain.
…and that gravity decompresses your spine?
When suspended in the silks with Aerapy Method™, we allow the spine and joints to gently open. During inversions, the vertebrae re-align with the natural force of gravity. We also refresh the blood and oxytocin to the brain, for a healthy mood enhancer.
